SOLJA is deeply concerned about the current situation facing journalists in Somaliland. In the first six months of 2025 alone, over 15 journalists have been arrested, and one media house has had its license revoked. Due to increasing pressure and fear of arrest, the former chairman of SOLJA has also fled the country.
