Workshop on Engagement Between Journalists and Law Enforcement

  1. Introduction
The relationship between the media and law enforcement agencies in Somaliland has at times been strained, often due to misunderstanding, lack of cooperation, and recurring incidents involving the arrest of journalists. It marked a significant step toward fostering a culture of respect, accountability, and professionalism on both sides.
