The Somaliland Journalists Association (SOLJA) orchestrated a commemorative event on May 4, 2024, in observance of World Press Freedom Day. The gathering convened key stakeholders from government, opposition parties, media professionals, Civil service organizations and academia to deliberate on the current status of press freedom in Somaliland and propose pathways for enhancement.
